Pragati Maidan had an expo of Bikes and Digital Imagng Technology. Suhail and mine original plan was to goto just DIT Asia 07, but Avinash said he will also come with us and we will also goto Bikex…
We reached Pragati Maidan by Metro and then paid some money to the Gatekeeper at the gate for entry into the pragati maidan. Finding a hall inside the Pragati Maidan is an Herculian Task in itself.
We decided to see Bikex first. We reached the Bikex (Hall 2-5). It was simply pathetic, no superbikes, just e-bikes, cycles, vinatge models and some modders from delhi. In all it was highly disappointing… and none of the exhibitors had good models!! It was highly disappointing…
Then we went to Dit Asia 07 (Hall 8-11). You have to get registered first before u get inside. It was good. Kodak, Cannon, Panasonic, Nikon, Olympus, Epson, everyone was there. We got to use some of the best digital cameras hand on. But the people ther had limited knowledge, but stiil what they knew was very good enough. Also the things we aksed were little too much. Evn though v knew they wouldn be able to answer them, stilll we asked. Wicked!!
Deals were also good, sellers throwing in lot of goodies. Cannon had the 2nd best stall… it had the highest number of products to showcase, sexy models…. they were also conducting some contest related to their products whose answers were staring at us rght in front of us. I thought they would give some good prizes.. but they were awarding pens.. i and suhail backed off but avi did not and he won 6 pens!!
Best was Kingston. They are offering awesome deals. 512 MB MicroSD card for 650 bux, 2 GB Pen DIve @ Rs. 1500… everything was cheap!! I didnt have the money but Suhail ordered a 2 GB pen drive and it will be delivered to him by hand at his home. They didnt offer hand to hand delivery. U have to give them ur contact number so hey contact u and u tell them ur requirements.
So go fo Dit Asia 07 and skip the fucking Bikex… nJoi!!
