Yesterday i saw Bhaagam-Bhag with my college freinds (19 frnds to be exact) at M2k Rohini. Initial plan was to goto M2K Pitampura, but thnx to gr8 road sense of ours and some of us having gr8 hearing capabilities v landed at M2K Rohini!!
The reason for me to watch this flick were Friends, Akshay and Govinda in a comedy flick. Though it did not have good humour to call it a comedy flick. It was a mix of Comedy and murder mystery.
The movie starts with Akshay (Bunty) and Govinda (Baabla) a part of Drama Group, with Govinda as hero, Akshay as villain and Paresh Rawal (Champak Seth) as Director. Both Bunty and Baabla alwayz run after the lead actress of the drama as a result most of the girlz leave the group.
The group gets a chance to perform in london, but they have no lead actress. So Champak tells Bunty and Baabla that whoever finds a heroine for the drama will get to play the role of hero else he along with another old female in the goup will do the lead role. Now bunty finds a female named Munni (Lara Dutta) aka Nisha aka Aditi aka Sheetal (or shiela) to do the lead role. But Munni had suicidal tendencies, due to which she tries to commit suicide and lands in hospital. Affter that she regains her memory and sayz she is already married to Vikram Chauhan (Arbaaz Khan). After sometime Munni aka Nisha dies, then after sometime Vikram dies and the blame goes on Champak, Bunty and Baabla. So they start running mindlessly to prove themselves innocent.
The movie was bearable in the first half but in the second half it completely deviated from its track of being a comedy movie to murder mystery. I was just waiting for it to get over as soon as possible..
Akshay and Paresh do their part very well, but Govinda is looking old, fat and did pathetic acting. Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff and Lara Dutta all were good. All other actors try to act well and most of them succeed. Music didnt appeal to me much excpet song Tere Bin.
