Today saw don with college frnds. First Day, second show 
. Although i dont like Shahrukh Khan a bit, i saw the movie just coz its by Farhan Akhtar, whose Lakshaya and Dil Chahata Hai are very much my favs!! But i was disappointed by this, really!!
Movie starts with the top view of Paris and my frnd starts his commentary … “loox more like the top of view of palam!!”. Ok if u have seen the orginal don, u wont like it at all except the ending which has a twist!!
SRK sux in doing comedy, cant copy amitabh in any way… the Khaike Paan Banaras copy was a terrible attempt.. dialogues, roles, plot (to some extent) have been copied frame to frame. The only difference being, the story has been modernised… instead of contacts diary, there is DVD, etc etc
Now if u r a SRK lover, u will like the movie. As for me i was extremely disappointed this time by Farhan Akhtar’s work. Priyanka Chopra cud have been used better, Isha Koppikar has almost nil role… y was she there in the movie???? Boman Irani was good as usual, and Om Puri also did his part ok ok!! None of the actors potential was fully utilized.. It was only SRK, SRK in the movie.Music was ok ok.. direction was also ok ok… Emphasis was more on the scenic beauty and thats wat was the best thing in the movie. The ending is also gud. So no matter how bored of the movie u r getting, see the ending!!

And i know this review sux, i was not in the mood to write it!! One more thing, The Sound System of Satyam, ROX!!!

I don’t like Sharukh’s movies at all baring the first few ones. And I guess this is gonna be one more of those I don’t like. Maybe I will watch the original one now. Der se toh der se

Those who doesn’t like the new DON, I think they have some attitude problem.
If you are comparing it with Old One then you are wrong, if you are comparing SRK with BIG B then you are wrong. I saw new DON 5 times just to compare the two and I found that new DON is much better then the old one but in the new one there is some “sequence” problems. SRK done very well. Music is very good comparing to the old. this time “Khaike Pan Banaraswala” is more effective. Anyway i will give this 4/5. Thanks Farhan for the Movie.
