PoC: Dead Man’s Chest & Yun Hota to Kya Hota!!

Today i watched Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man’s Chest & Yun Hota to Kya Hota with Suhail and Avinash. Watching two movies in a single day is becoming normal for me 
!!
First saw PoC: Dead Man’s Chest at Satyam, Patel Nagar. The movie was good and upto my expectations. Though there were some distraction during the movie, like two couples stting in front of us:mrgreen:.
The movie had a slow start in my opinion. Johny Depp was pefect as Captain Jack Sparrow. His talking, walking, running evrything was making ppl laugh. Keira Knightley was stunning but she did not have much of a role. Orlando Bloom cud have been more expressive in his acting.
The movie did not depend much on first film, but its better to watch the first part also so as to get better understanding of the film. Graphix are awesome and loox real too. The movie ended perfectly leaving much suspense for the third part.
My Rating: 8/10
Then we decided to see YHTKH and went to McDonald’s Kashmere Gate to get NewsPaper, so that we can see where the movie is being screened and also to get our stomachs refilled. We got the paper after sometime coz somebody else was reading it downstairs.
We saw YHTKH in PVR Plaza, Rajiv Chowk. My only movie in a PVR Cinema after HP: PoA. We were 5-7 mins late for the movie.
The movie has stories of 4 ppl. How their circumstances or how desperate they want to goto USA.
Rahul is a doctor who got admission to a US University cant go tehre coz he has to take care of his ill father and also due to financial problems. But his father dies and Khushboo (Ayeash Takia) helps him with money.
Tilettma (Konkana Sen Sharma) has her husband (Jimmy Shergill) in US. SHe has to live with her in-laws who are driving him nuts except father-in-law.
Salim (Irfan Khan) is a stock broker. He is suspected murderer and also was betrayed in love. He moves to US to protect himslef from all this.
The fourth one is of Rajabhai (Paresh Rawal). He takes money from people and arranges them to send to US as part of dancing troupe. One day his lover Tara requests him to send her daughter to US to which he agrees.
After this u better watch the movie!!! Coz i dont want to spoil the end. U shud watch this movie coz its a different story and well directed by Naseeruddin Shah.
My rating: 7/10
You have to keep your bags etc outside in all cinema halls in Delhi. Suhail had brought a bag. After watching the movie YHTKH, we forget about the bag and Suhail remembered it only wen we entered Metro Station. Then he ran back to get it!
Then we came back home and played football!!
Orlando Bloom needs to act? Lol isnt his appearance in the movie enough for the females?
I wish it releases friday and I can get to see my last movie this year soon.
man u making me jealous , am stuck with the cam prints here .
I will wait for some better print of the Poc.It ain’t releasing here.
Me going to POC this Friday, incase We get the tickets.

Manas , I saw Pukka release , it really way better , almost like maven release & full feature.
man, you lied! the movie was totally dependant on the first movie, the last scene threw me off my chair and I was angry when the next scene of Director – Blah blah came on. I spilled my pepsi #3
Hmm.. Shwetz Din’t lie! Perhaps you need to see both the movies again.
The movie is almost not dependent on the first one.
Again I dint wait for the credits to roll on.. missed a scene there abt Cannibals and Dogs.
I saw that as well as the X3 bonus scene
Well, one of my friend who went along with us, he hadnt seen the 1st one and couldnt get a hold on this one. There are several refrences to it.
There are only 4 references.
One is the women slapping when Turner asks for Jack and of course , we get to see the dead pirate in the end.. Barborossa or something. The Thrid one is the undead monkey. Fourth is the Marriage at the starting scenes. IMO you dont need to watch the first one to enjoy this flick.
All other references are minor and can be shoved aside.
^^ actually that cpatain baboosa is the most important refernce that makes u watch the first movie!
