Well i wanted to write this post for long time but didnt get time due to studies… Recently an Indian Telecom Engg was killed in Afghanistan by Taliban. They want all Indian engg to go back to India… They kidnapped him, gave Indian Govt an ultimatum of 24 hrs to call back the engg but they killed Suryanarayana much b4 the deadline ended… and this is where i hate newz channels.
After the newz of Suryanarayana murder came, Newz channels (Star Newz and Aaj Tak) started showing Suryanarayana’s House… all his family members were crying badly.. but the media wanted to have newz, visuals… so they filming their families, an old man (may be father or father-in-law) stopped them, so wat the media do?? They start peeking through the Windows and that literally sucked. And how the newsroom were aking the questions to their correspondents… Has Surya’s family came to know of his death”, “How’s the atmosphere there”, “Has any poltician arrived there”, “Is there politics going on” …. The newz channels somehow gained entry into the house… and on top of it Star was filming Surya’s family crying and they were proud of it as they said… “These visuals are available only with Star Newz”.. It was simply pathetic…
This is not the first time that this kind of thing has happened.. they do such idiotic things everytime, be it delhi bomb blasts, varanasi attacks… I m not saying that they shud stop filming newz, but they shud be sensible of wat to show and wat not to and wat to say and when…
Yes.. This is the most idiotic thing some media people do…

agree these news channel sux like hell , these so called news person rush to “shamashan” where the person is going to be creameted , they ask visitors how they feel ? they even dont care wht ppl’s feelings who are still in shock , but for them it’s just news iteam which is “exclusive” & boost their TRPs.
1 more thing about their reporting, when just 2 days ago , in baroda , only 4 areas were under curfew while these bunch fool reporters showed whole city under curfew. There was stone pelting towards which 1 channel reported bomb blast in court , wtf.
yeah they were showing mahajan’s daughters crying and on top of it they were saying… look how shocked they are… Damn it he was their father…
This really sucks…..
they have done most idiotic things.mainly Star News.
They showed the whole pocess of Mahajan’s cermentation………..
Now i guess this the most common thing that media do. They exploit the grief of the humans for news. During the earthquake,riot and tsunami same thing was happening they bloddy dont care about anything except news. I was thinking excactly the same thing after seeing it.
did u see the interview of Mahajan’s brother Prakash when he was coming back home after Pramod Mahajan’s cremation?
The journalists were asking 100 kinds of idiotic questions that how will the family cope with all this, is he going to console his bhabhi, which child of mahajan will take up politics and all…
Not only Indian media, whole Paparazzi is like that.
Remember, Princess Diana lost her life in an attempt to get away frm reporters……
It is time that Media gets a little responsible in India. Media forgets that with Power comes Responsibility. They forget that millions of people look over to them to get the true picture of the entire issue. All channels try getting into the thrills of presenting the news whereas they forget the basic ethics of journalism. Even if they cover, one issue properly, it can lead to a nation wide result into that issue. Jessica lal case was an example of it.
It is time Media comes up honestly and becomes responsible, or else they would be thrown into junk just like that phamphalets which come with the newspapers.
Unfortunately in our country, even though we do not have much of papparazzi, but our desi media makes up for it in all respects. Leave all hounding the people whose near and dear ones have passed away, the quality of media reporting has also gone done considerably. They are leaving no chance to get any news, whether it fits the bill of being called news at all is not even a remotest
of consideration.
My favourite news so far has been zee news covering a marriage which had broken up on the D-day and the reporter was shown interviewing the Groom and his family for their reactions and the reason for doing so !!

our media seems to be a mere puppet in the hands of thier news channel, politics and foriegn nations.
they are the ones who give hike to any minute issue and they are those who can let any huge issue go down under their eyes!!!!
