Now this really is very stooooopid. An IIT-JEE coaching intitute in Delhi, Quest Coaching Centre or something like that, organized a sort of seminar to instill some confidence in the students.
How do they instill confidence?? They make the students walk on fire… no literally. The organizer of the seminar, i dont know whether he was a teacher there or just to host it.. he said he had full confidence that none of the students wud get hurt. But even then, he made the students sign a form, without the prior consent of the parents, which stated that in case of injury, institute wont be held respoonsible. On top of that, no doctor/ambulance was present for safety.
And students were walking on it, shouting out of excitement, like wen we get a lot excited. Evn if a student gets hurt, sometimes ppl dont tell others coz then they will be the odd one out and due to the fear of emberrasment. Same reason, they cudnt have denied due to the peer pressure… like other kids might call him/her coward. Well in the end, no-one was injured… but still it was verrrrrryyy stooopid. Saw this piece of newz on Star Newz.
And yesterday, some fool used a Fire Extinguisher in a Metro, at Janakpuri (West) station on line-3. Due to this train services were disrupted for 21 Minutes around 2:10 PM. DMRC has announced a cash prize of Rs. 25000 to anybody providing some info about that person. DMRC has published an ad in all leading national newspapers about this.
