After the thread (link) on Digit Forums where Deep announced that all member mods/admins are RESIGNING got a huge feedback (i think it was trimmed also) and after a looooong time a reply from the ADMIN Raaabo, got things cleared or rather heated up. The reply by Raaabo (link) was not liked by Deep to which he replied (link) and then later on his blog (link) said that he wont be going to the forums anymore. At this moment of writing this post, Digit Forums is down. And many regular members like Retro said that we shud start our own forum to which Chinmay replied telling about www.oobertech.net started by Digit Mods only.
Theraven (an ex-mod) replied with the following on Deep’s Blog:
- we are gonna put all our efforts into oobertech now ..
and deep seems excited abt it too this time ard
so maybe we can see a lot of exciting changes and hopefully digit member support
cuz truthfully. they arent gonna do a thing abt it anymore.
we’ll have the truth up on the think digit group on orkut sometime soon ..
And as i have mentioned in my earlier posts that i also dont like Digit Forums anymore, i still visit em occasionally but i seldom post there now. I will be now more regular on Oobertech and since mods will get Oobertech much better than Digit Forums. So all the guyz/gals who are bored of Digit Forums or new members might wanna come to Oobertech. Many old members have already left the forums.
PS: i m in no way associated with either Digit Foums or Oobertech… infact some of the mods dont even know me (i think).

Well, joining hands of the (ex) mods, me too have decided to leave digit forums. atleast until they upgrade it to vB and reinstate all mods.
I hope now I can spend more time with Oober, Frihost and Fedoraforums.

Cool theme,Shwetz.I too am going to Oobertech,the digit forums suck even more now as the mods have resigned.

Oh yeah…I was also wondering why your site / comments were in spam on my blog..anyways I have selected them as “Not Spam” in Asiksmet spam comments..

Hey Shwetz.. yeah.. just noticed that your comments were in the spam folder. Made it not spam… yeah I have updated to the new version of the theme. I’m personally not satisfied with my theme. I am gonna change it. Looking for a new theme.. ppl can you suggest some?

Lovely theme Shwetz! K2 is my personal favorite and it’s enormous mods are rocking.
I dunno whether I would really compare Digit forums and Oobertech. Digit is more n00bish and the atmosphere is quite hectic. Oobertech is more elite and clearly for those with a passion for Technology. I just wish I had known about the forums before. Read Raaabo’s reponse, well atleast they are shifting to vB but I think cost was the factor why they didn’t do it before though $180 would be next to nothing for Digit.
And a small tip m8, when you are writing about another site/blog/anything, just link to it once, in the first para. You’ve linked to OT about 5 times everywhere you’ve mentioned it and this kinda gets annoying while reading due to the change. And I guess, you guys should call me Chrono ;D!
