How to create a Torrent – A Tutorial !!

Since i m using Azureus, i m giving the procedure for that only. If i find time, i will post for others as well. For using torrents, refer to this tutorial.

1) Open Azureus. Goto File —> New Torrent. After that u will be presented with a Window like this.

2) Now enter the URL of the EXTERNAL TRACKER. U will get this from where u want to upload ur torrents. Like Demonoid has this tracker URL: http://inferno.demonoid.com:3390/announce, bwt has this URL: http://bwtorrents.com:6969/Perseus.asmx/announce and so on.

3) Select Directory, if u want to share a number of files or a single file if u want to share Single File. Add a Comment if u want to. Click NEXT.

4) Select the Directory or File u want to share. Click NEXT.

5) Change the settings if u wish to, but u can also leave them to default. Since u r posting the torrent, so check the option OPEN TORRENT FOR SEEDING. Click Finish.

NOTE: Alwayz check the site’s FAQ where u r posting ur torrent.

   I have seen a problem with azerues eventhough if the download is stopped its connecting to net and gets 1kbps or sumthing why i dunno do you have that probs with it.
   I never create torrent only leech and sometimes seed

   well yes but wat i believ is that it keeps on communicating withh all trackers and downloading latest info… thats y it shows dowloading (i think )
