India Wins !!!

hmmm guyz me writing after full four dayz…. keeping very busy.

On Monday was my practical, went really g00d, then my sem egg-jams are starting from Friday, so have to study for them as well. And on top of that India-SL test series is going on. I wished to write in the blog earlier also… but i waited for the second test match to finish. So d00ds, India defeated SL by 188 runs. You can get full coverage of the match here and here.

Kumble took 10 wickets in the match and was awarded Man of the Match Award. Sachin was presented with a Gold Watch for completing his 35th century. Well the match also saw gr8 performances by Pathan who proved his batting is g00d for Tests also, Yuvraj rubbishing his critics for his inclusion in the test team.

I wud also like to kick some a** of BCCI for keeping such a tiny amount of Rs. 35000 for MoM knowing that the money is distributed in the whole team. F*** the amount they annually pay to cricketers, thats the match fees and Award ammount is an entirely different thing… that amount is prize. This is absoluely not expected from the richest Cricketing Body in the world.

Well, it also saw Ganguly making a comeback… a sort of. He made 40 Runs (129 balls) in first innings and 39 (115 balls) in second, although at a very very slow pace as mentioned. But Ganguly was axed for the third test, being replaced by Wasim Jaffer of Mumbai. May be this was alone not the reason for his exclusion from the team for the third test. His poor fielding, not acclerating the batting wen needed can also be included as the reasons. Believe it or not… i also feel that Ganguly got a raw deal. Ya Ya u read it right. Even Dravid appreciated his batting.. then g0d knows y he was left out. Selectors clearly mentioned that there was no place for Ganguly in future and there is no point in keeping him as a reserve.

   By the way.. I am bot happy with the selectors.. Ganguly should not have been dropped.

   Like the news said,before dropping Ganguly the selectors should look at their records or for that matter Gambhir’s record.
