On Sunday i went along with my mom, papa and Bua to trade fair. Sister cud not go coz on monday was her exam. We were slated to leave the home by 8:30, but again we were late due to easily avoidable circumstances. Anyways we left the home aound 9:10 in the morn and we were there by 9:50. i was glad that we were late coz the entry didnt start by 9:55.
Papa left us at Gate No. 2 and then he went Car Parking. We didnt had to buy tickets coz we had passes. Bua and Mom, went inside, while i waited for Papa. He came aorund 10:10. After getting in, we bought a map and decided which Halls and Pavillions to visit. We decided upon Hall 11 (jute, electronics, household items), Hall 14 (Techmart), Hall 16 (Mystique World), Hall 18 (International), Andhra Pradesh, Kerala.
First we went to Andhra Pradesh pavilllion. There mom and bua bought some major stuff. It took nearly an hour. While me and papa roamed the rest of it. After coming out we ate something. Then we were to goto Techmart, Hall 14. Ok hearing the name u must have also thought that it wud have contained lots and lots of tech stuff. Well yes it did but for small scale industries. It had machinery for packaging, etc etc. We bought not much from there, just a multi tester which tests starters, chokes, points, broken wires, etc etc. While i and papa were roaming in this hall, mom and bua were roaming Gujarat and J&K pavillions. After that while bua and mom sat near a fountain, me and papa decided to goto Defency Ministry Pavillion, but seeing the long queue we came back.
After that we went to International Hall, Hall 18. It also contaned Indian Stalls on top floor. First we went to top floor from where Bamboo shoots and tops were bought. Then we came down to see other country’s stalls. China ppl were all g0ne except for two three. From Thailand’s stall, some dried flowers were bought, for which everybody was asking while we were roaming the rest of the fair. After we rested for a while and ate our lunch.
Now mummy wanted some Rajasthani Kachori, so we went back to Rajsthan Pavillion which was near Andhra Pradesh. But no kachori were bought.
After that we went to Kerala Pavillion. It was ok, i dont remembering buying anything from there. After that i had a plan to visit Hall 16, Mystique World. The name really got my attention, but on reaching there it was about spa, relaxation, blah blah. So i decided not to go there.
Now the electronix pavilion, i thought of seeing some really kewl stuff put there, but i came back disappointed. It had all old stuu. There were stalls of AMD, where kids were playing some NFS. Intex, i didnt even wanted to look that side. Panasonic, selling TV and MP3 players. Some CD shops selling, cheap duplicates of some of the most popular games.
Since nothing was bought for me, mom and bua decided to go looking for something for me. But they werent able to find anything. So this time also nothing for me from Trade Fair, like the last time.
After that the time was near about 4-4:30. So we decided to head back to home. We got Schola Bhatura packed from food stalls there. I ate chuski (sort of ice cream). While coming to gate 1, since car was nearer from there, we stopped at Saras, it had stalls from all states selling some hand made things (i suppose). Not much bought from there.
Finally we came to car park, drove back home and we were damn tired. i was having severe pain in my legs.
